Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova signed her first deal with sportswear brand Nike when she was 11 years old. She became Russia's first female Wimbledon champion when she won her first Grand Slam title at the age of 17, in 2004. Notably, Sharapova's 30th birthday was celebrated on Wednesday.
