The Marriott hotel chain has announced that it is suspending its operations in Russia after more than 25 years. The company said that the Western sanctions made it "impossible" for it to continue operations in the Russian market. In March, the company paused investment in Russia and closed its Moscow office following the invasion of Ukraine.
