short by Sakshita Khosla / on Sunday, 13 August, 2023
Under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Bill, 2023 (IPC's replacement), marrying a woman after "concealing one's true identity", is punishable with a maximum of 10 years in jail.
