Martin Guptill has officially retired from international cricket, having last played for New Zealand in 2022. The 38-year-old will continue to feature in T20 leagues. Guptill scored 7,346 runs in 198 ODIs and he is New Zealand's highest run-getter in T20I cricket with 3,531 runs in 122 matches. Notably, Guptill had run MS Dhoni out in 2019 World Cup semi-finals.
