Maruti Suzuki has announced a recall of 2,555 Alto K10 cars over a suspected defect in the steering gearbox assembly that could affect the vehicle's steerability. Customers of the affected vehicles have been asked not to use the car till the part is replaced. The automaker said it is contacting affected owners to conduct a voluntary check for the issue.
