Former Managing Director of Maruti Suzuki India Jagdish Khattar died aged 78 due to cardiac arrest. Khattar joined the company in 1993 as Director of Marketing and later became its Managing Director in 1999. He retired from Maruti in 2007 and established Carnation, a car sales and service network, which was acquired by Mahindra First Choice in 2018.
