Six-time world champion Mary Kom, who quit amateur boxing over age restrictions after she turned 41, has signalled her entry into professional boxing. She spoke about evaluating new opportunities and said, "A professional opportunity has come up. I'm taking some time to consider it, but I'm working hard to show people a comeback." Professional boxing has no mandatory retirement age.
