A wearable mask for cows to neutralise their methane emissions in real-time is one of the four winners of the inaugural Terra Carta Design Lab competition in the UK. Created by UK-based design group Zelp, the mask captures methane with each burp. A catalyst oxidises the gas and releases it into the atmosphere as carbon dioxide and water vapour.
