A powerful earthquake of 5.2 magnitude jolted China's southern Guangxi region early on Monday, toppling at least 13 buildings. At least two people died and search is on for missing people as thousands of people were forced to evacuate the region. The Ministry of Emergency Management also activated a Level-IV national emergency response and dispatched a work team.
