Massive fake medicine racket busted in Bengaluru, drugs worth ₹4.91 cr seized
Karnataka FDA seized spurious drugs, machinery and other materials worth ₹4.91 crore from an unlicensed facility at a Bengaluru farmhouse. Officials alleged that lower-cost medicines sourced from other states were repackaged and relabelled as expensive multinational or imported drugs. They also found expired medicines, which could have been reintroduced into the supply chain, posing a health risk.
