Massive protests are reportedly underway in Pakistan's Sindh region due to water shortage that locals are facing following India's suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty. The protestors have threatened to block railway tracks and disrupt electricity supply. They are reportedly upset over insufficient water supply from a planned canal project, which would've taken water from Indus and Sutlej rivers.
