Mastercard has announced plans to lay off 3% of its global workforce as part of its reorganisation efforts unveiled earlier this year. The cuts would impact around 1,000 employees based on the company's latest headcount data. "As these changes are made, we plan to redeploy resources into growth areas," a spokesperson for Mastercard said.
