Maurice White of 'Earth, Wind & Fire' dies at 74

Maurice White, vocalist and co-founder of the American band, 'Earth, Wind & Fire', died on Wednesday, at the age of 74 years, in Los Angeles. White, who suffered from Parkinson’s disease, had stopped touring with the band from 1995. The nine-piece band is best remembered for funk, jazz, R&B and Latin music elements and hits including 'Shining Star' and 'September'.
