Archaeologists have found a strange 33 cm-tall and 28 cm-wide statue of a Maya warrior in basement of pre-Columbian temple at Chichén Itzá. The warrior, likely part of a larger sculpture from around 1,000 years ago, is depicted wearing a feathered dress and a snake-shaped helmet with open jaws. It was discovered by Mexico's National Institute of Anthropology and History.
