Biplab Das, an MBA from IIM-Bangalore, quit his job with Accenture to work in the Sundarbans. His enterprise Kishalay Organics produces native rice, organic fruits and vegetables and procures organic produce from local farmers. Its farm-to-kitchen model yielded ₹18 lakh in revenues last year. Kishalay also trains farmers in organic farming and helps them start groups for better marketing access.
