French forward Kylian Mbappé has broken Pelé's record for scoring most goals in FIFA World Cup history before turning 24. With his two goals against Poland in the round of 16 match of 2022 FIFA World Cup, the 23-year-old Mbappé took his tally of goals in World Cups to nine. Pelé had scored eight World Cup goals before turning 24.
