McCullum scores fastest 50 in World Cup history

New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum scored the fastest 50 in the World Cup against England on Friday, getting the landmark off only 18 balls. The previous record (50 off 20 against Canada in World Cup 2007) was also in his name. His fifty was the third fastest half-century in ODI after AB de Villiers (16 balls) and Sanath Jayasuriya (17).
