MCD approves procurement of 98,500 anti-rabies vaccine vials

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has approved procurement of 98,500 anti-rabies vaccine vials to meet treatment needs for animal bite victims. Of the total 1.20 lakh vials planned for two years, 21,500 were purchased in May 2026. MCD provides treatment across four hospitals and 25 health centres, estimating an annual requirement of 60,000 vials.
