MCD begins demolition action in Delhi after CM Gupta's order against illegal construction

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) initiated demolition action at a residential building in the Pandav Nagar area of Delhi after Chief Minister Rekha Gupta directed the civic body to use bulldozers against illegal structures. "This property is booked under 'unauthorised construction'," an official said. Notably, seven people were killed after a building collapsed in Satya Niketan area.
