MCD seals 3 unauthorised dhobi ghats in Old Delhi

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi sealed three unauthorised dhobi ghats in Old Delhi to stop untreated wastewater from polluting the Yamuna. The action follows directives from Municipal Commissioner Sanjeev Khirwar. Violations included absent effluent treatment plants and lack of DPCC approvals. Show-cause notices were issued; water and electricity disconnections are underway for non-compliant operators.
