The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will withdraw the user charge on garbage collection and replace it with an amenity scheme to address pending house tax dues. BJP leaders said the April property tax hike, due to added solid waste charges, will be reversed. Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva proposed separating property tax and surcharge payments, a move supported by the Mayor.
