McDonald's on Thursday announced it is buying its over 30-year-old franchise in Israel from Alonyal Limited. Alonyal operates 225 McDonald's restaurants in Israel and has a workforce of more than 5,000 people. This comes after McDonald's faced boycotts over Alonyal's donation of free meals to the Israeli military amid the war with Hamas.
