The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) will start a drive to install water meters in the city next week. MCG Commissioner PC Meena said, "Once meters are installed, there will be less wastage of water and [we] will be able to generate revenue." The civic body generates water bills for 2,01,448 water connections, of which only 27,131 have meters.
