In Haryana, the authorities of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, have placed Registrar Dr Krishan Kant under suspension. Senior professor Dr Naseeb Singh Gill of the Department of Computer Science and Applications has also been suspended by the administration. The suspensions come ahead of the scheduled meeting of the university's 304th Executive Council on Wednesday.
