Omnichannel meat retail startup Licious has laid off 80 employees, representing 3% of its workforce, to "reprioritise cost outlays, considering new growth levers", a spokesperson told Moneycontrol. Licious said it has over ₹800 crore in cash from previous fundraising rounds. The fired employees are reportedly being offered two months' salaries as compensation along with variable pay for FY24.
