Healthcare solutions and medical devices manufacturer Medtronic will invest ₹1,200 crore over the next five years to expand their current R&D centre in Hyderabad. "The Medtronic Engineering & Innovation Centre (MEIC) will be their largest global R&D centre outside of the US," said Telangana minister KT Rama Rao. He added that the project could create around 1,000 jobs.
