A Delhi-bound air ambulance that crashed after takeoff from Ranchi did not issue a Mayday call, TOI report quoted officials as saying. The pilot had sought a weather deviation shortly before losing radar contact. Although weather advisories had been issued, the crew of the Beechcraft C90 air ambulance didn't get in touch with the meteorological centre before departure, report added.
