US-based meditation startup Calm, which offers mental wellness apps, has raised $27 million in a Series A funding round at a $250 million pre-money valuation. The funding round was led by Insight Venture Partners with participation from Ashton Kutcher's Sound Ventures and singer Harry Styles. Founded in 2012, Calm had raised $1.5 million in seed funding prior to this round.
