Police in Meerut cracked the murder of BSF constable Nain Singh, who was shot dead while sleeping during leave. Initial suspicion of a land dispute was ruled out after technical evidence exposed a conspiracy involving his wife Komal Devi and her lover Gulshan. Authorities say the duo plotted the killing with three aides. All five accused have been arrested.
