Meet Pinecone: The therapy cat helping US school students

Pinecone, a three-and-a-half-year-old therapy cat, visits a middle school in Rhode Island, US, three days a week to offer students comfort and companionship. Art teacher Kayleigh Smith brought him to school after receiving approval from the authorities. Students can spend quiet moments with Pinecone, who helps them cope with stress and anxiety through his calm presence and affectionate behaviour.
