In 1977 - India had no McDonalds, KFC, Dominos or Pizza Hut. Deepak Nirula introduced an American menu by offering Hot chocolate fudge, Burgers, Pizzas and Ice cream in 21 flavours. He offered the menu at his family restaurant "Nirulas" in D-block, Connaught Place, Delhi. Today, Nirulas is a Rs 5000 CR company, operating in 150+ locations.
