Researchers have found that Megalodon was a warm-blooded creature. It lived in oceans from 23 million to 3.6 million years ago and measured about 50 feet in length. Previous studies suggested that the Megalodon was more precisely regionally endothermic, like modern-day sharks, but the study of its fossil teeth determined that its body temperature was much higher than previously thought.
