Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said 1,600 users have availed the Ride Shillong e-bike service, funded by Germany’s GIZ, with no state funds involved. Replying to VPP MLA Adelbert Nongrum, he said New Shillong roads will have cycling tracks. Deputy CM Sniawbhalang Dhar confirmed 20 cycles were deployed under the SUM-ACA initiative.
