Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma announced a ₹145-cr Hilton–Park five-star hotel and a full green-mobility shift as Tura prepares to host National Games 2027 events. The govt will subsidise homestays to create 350 rooms, push electric autos and buses, develop parks and open spaces, and set up rehab centres and safety measures under the Tura beautification drive.
