Meghalaya filmmaker Pradip Kurbah’s Khasi-language feature Ha Lyngkha Bneng – The Elysian Field opened the 11th Jaffna International Cinema Festival in Sri Lanka on December 30. Set in 2047, the dystopian film previously won top honours at KIFF and the NETPAC Award at Moscow IFF.
