The Meghalaya High Court has directed the state Cabinet to decide within three weeks on acquiring 11.7 acres of private land for Shillong Airport’s expansion. The court also urged the Centre to fast-track approvals. The move aims to allow larger aircraft, reduce flight cancellations and boost tourism and connectivity in Meghalaya.
