Meghalaya has requested $300 million for the Logistics and Connectivity Improvement Project (MLCIP), with the World Bank providing $240 million. The project will enhance road corridors, rural logistics, and market access. Its goal is to boost agriculture, lower logistics costs, and create sustainable, climate-resilient infrastructure, driving economic growth and job creation in the state.
