Professor Meghana Pandit has been appointed the CEO of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, becoming the trust's first female chief. With the appointment, she also became the first Indian-origin individual to be made the CEO of any National Health Service (NHS) trust in the Shelford Group. The Shelford Group represents some of the United Kingdom's biggest teaching hospitals.
