A member of Meitei outfit Arambai Tenggol was apprehended for allegedly firing at security personnel over the arrest of the leader of their organisation Kanan Singh and four others, police said on Wednesday. The police also detained 19 people for their involvement in "street violence in Imphal East district". The police urged people not to get involved in unlawful activities.
