Memories.ai, founded by ex-Meta Reality Labs' Dr Shawn Shen and Ben Zhou, raised $8 million in seed funding to develop Large Visual Memory Model (LVMM). This will give AI a better "memory" for patterns across millions of hours of footage. Further, Shen has offered up to $2 million in pay to attract AI talent from firms like Meta and Google.
