A study of thousands of brains from over 20 years of neuroscience research by a team from Cambridge University has revealed that an average male brain is 8-13% bigger than a female brain. The study, which the researchers say is the first meta-analysis of sex differences in brain structure, however, doesn’t draw any direct links between brain structure and function.
