In one of the biggest anti-narcotics busts in recent times, Pune Police has seized over 1,100 kg of Mephedrone or MD (street names 'Meow Meow', 'White Magic'). The narcotics were seized in raids in Pune and Delhi and the approximate value of the seized drugs is over ₹2,000 crore. The MD was being produced in a factory in Pune's Kurkumbh.
