Global automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz's self-driving cars will choose to save the lives of its driver and passengers over the lives of pedestrians, company's executive Christoph von Hugo has said. "If you know you can save at least one person, at least save that one...Save the one in the car," he added. However, Mercedes engineers are working to prevent such situations.
