'Messy handwriting' reveals Elizabeth I as translator of 16th-century book

UK's Queen Elizabeth I has been revealed to be the translator of an English version of a 16th-century book written by the Roman historian Tacitus. Her "messy" handwriting seen in the corrections and additions helped researchers determine that the author was Elizabeth I. Researchers noticed that the watermarks on the paper used for translation were those used for the Queen.
