Meta has banned RT, Rossiya Segodnya and other Russian state media networks from its apps globally due to alleged "foreign interference activity". The company in its statement added that the ban would roll out soon on its apps like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Threads. "After careful consideration, we expanded our ongoing enforcement against Russian state media outlets," Meta said.
