Meta has laid off around 12 employees in India across ad sales and marketing roles, The Economic Times reported. Affected staff were informed via email and offered severance packages equivalent to four to six months' salary. The cuts are part of Meta's broader global restructuring, which has already seen 8,000 job losses worldwide, as it sharpens its focus on AI.
