Meta, which paused its spree of hiring AI employees from rival companies, is onboarding a key Apple AI executive Frank Chu to join its Superintelligence Labs, Bloomberg reported. Chu helped manage the running of LLMs on Apple cloud servers and develop search features for Siri. Earlier, Ruoming Pang, who created Apple’s models team, left for a $200-million Meta pay package.
