Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced Meta Superintelligence Lab and unveiled the new 11-member team earlier this week. These hired AI researchers are all immigrants with undergraduate degrees from outside US. These experts hail from China, India, South Africa, UK, and Australia and have studied at leading US universities. Before joining Meta, they worked at big-name labs like OpenAI and Anthropic.
