Meta on Friday launched its subscription service 'Meta Verified' in the US that allows Facebook and Instagram users to get a blue badge. The service, which costs $11.99 per month on the web and $14.99 per month on iOS and Android, verifies users' accounts through their government ID. The service was announced by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in February.
