Meta is scaling back parts of its plan to collect employee mouse movements, keystrokes and other activity for AI training after weeks of employee backlash, Reuters reported. New controls will let staff pause data collection for up to 30 minutes and request exemptions. The team behind the software also introduced optimisations to reduce battery drain and data usage after complaints.
